PRISM is funded by a wide variety of churches, municipalities, civic organizations, foundations, private businesses and individual donors. There are a variety of ways to help us in this mission. For information about the tax benefits of your donation, contact your attorney or tax advisor.

PRISM is a 501(c)3, so your donations are tax deductible and $.95 of every dollar donated to PRISM goes directly into programs for families.

Monetary Donation

Although many types of gifts benefit PRISM, the gift of money is the most beneficial.

For example, through a relationship with Second Harvest Heartland, PRISM is able to use $1 to purchase $7 worth of groceries!

A $25 donation will feed a family of 4 for 1 week.

Donation of Stock or Real Property

When long-term property is given to a qualified charitable organization, it is deductible for its full fair market value, and the donor pays no federal capital gains tax on the appreciation in value. Contact your attorney or tax advisor for more information.
