FOOD SHELF
PRISM’s food shelf provides a 10-15 day supply of food for families along with individualized casework and community resource information.
Eligibility
- Must live in Golden Valley, South of 42ndAvenue in Crystal, New Hope, or Robbinsdale, or East of 494 in Plymouth. Exceptions may be made if you were referred by a local church or are currently homeless.
- Bring a Photo ID
- Bring proof of residence such as a recent piece of mail within the last 30 days
- Meet with case worker to review needs
- “Shop” at the grocery-store-style food shelf
How can I support the Food Shelf?
Children in your community skip meals and/or regularly don’t have enough to eat. Over 50% of people using food shelves are employed. You can help by making a financial donation or an in-kind donation of food.
