Car Ownership Program
‘Ways to Work’ is a national transportation program headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. PRISM is the ‘Ways to Work’ Twin Cities agency administering their family loan program, providing low interest loans to working families for the purpose of purchasing or repairing a vehicle.
Eligibility
All of the following conditions must be met to be eligible
- Continuous employment for at least three months or matriculated in a post high school education program
- Involved parent(s) of dependent child(ren)
- Have valid Minnesota Driver’s License
- Have exhausted conventional loan resources
- Have disposable income sufficient to make repayment
- Have a household income no greater than 80% of the area’s median income
- If bankruptcy has ever been filed, proof of discharge must be provided
