Summer Events with PRISM

There is nothing better than summer in Minnesota. Take advantage of the fresh air and busy community events, you might even see PRISM at one. The sun’s out; get your funds out! Summer hunger is rising and impacting your community, especially children and families. Learn more about childhood hunger and how you can help.

Summer 2024 Lineup: 

June 8th: Golden Valley Pride. Stop by the PRISM table at Golden Valley Pride. PRISM appreciates and values all individuals; we are excited to celebrate YOU!

June 15th : PRISM Pop-Up at Hy-Vee. 10AM – 6PM. Visit the PRISM table outside the New Hope Hy-Vee and help fill the Two Men and a Truck trailer with shelf-stable foods and household items. Stock up the Marketplace Food Shelf for the summer.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Can you help at this event? Sign up for a shift!

July 11-14th : Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days. Keep the good times rolling at Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days from July 11th-14th. Local businesses will be collecting food for PRISM, so be sure to bring your donations when you come!

July 25th : Golden Valley Rotary Taste and Tour. Come stop and say hello at the PRISM and Shop for Change tables between 5 and 7:45PM while enjoying an evening filled with delicious food and incredible businesses.

July 25-28th : Crystal Frolics. Stop by the PRISM table during this fun summer festival to learn how you can maximize your community impact. Local businesses and organizations will host collection bins for PRISM and NEAR food shelves, so bring your donations and have a blast!

July 27th: Totally Rad Vintage Fest. Visit Shop for Change’s booth at this summer’s biggest vintage event at the Minnesota State Fair grounds .

August 3rd : Brews, Eats & Beats. Celebrate community and an exciting summer at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church’s Brews, eats & Beats festival. Enjoy music, food, drinks, and the opportunity to raise money for PRISM and other local organizations!
