The Sun Post visited the first of six free produce distributions taking place between July and October. The produce events are one of PRISM’s efforts to keep families healthy this summer. Other components of the Campaign Against Summer Hunger include providing additional healthy foods to participants of PRISM’s Marketplace Food Shelf, and helping shoppers at the Golden Valley and New Hope farmers markets use their SNAP benefits.
